Hands on Techniques Post Trauma Protocol

This one day fast paced workshop teaches manual therapy techniques for use in treating clients who currently experience pain and discomfort from surgery, accident or trauma. It is to be used after the client is released from acute medical care and has been cleared by their primary care provider.

The manual techniques taught are designed to assist the body in recovering more quickly with less pain and discomfort. We have found these techniques and this procedure to be a good way of starting and accelerating the healing and clearing process.

The manual techniques used are drawn from many different manual therapy subspecialties and assembled here for the first time into a coherent approach to treating soft tissue trauma. This is a beginning protocol which should be of significant value for massage therapists, nurses, PTs and OTs working in rehab settings and other interested health professionals.

Due to the nature of the techniques taught, the class is limited to licensed health professionals.
